とあるランサムメール

知人（ITには詳しくない）から「下記のようなメールが先日届きました。ちょっと怖いのだけど、なんだろう？」と相談が来ました。

どんな内容？

Hello! I am a hacker who has access to your operating system. I also have full access to your account. I've been watching you for a few months now. The fact is that you were infected with malware through an adult site that you visited. If you are not familiar with this, I will explain. Trojan Virus gives me full access and control over a computer or other device. This means that I can see everything on your screen, turn on the camera and microphone, but you do not know about it. I also have access to all your contacts and all your correspondence. Why your antivirus did not detect malware? 最初「ランサムウェアにでも引っかかったのかな？」と思いましたが、ウェアではなくただの脅しメールのようです。

ざっくり訳してみたよ

• おまいのPCに、ヱッチなサイト経由で侵入したよ
• おまいを数カ月間監視してたよ
• おまいがPCで何やってるかわかる動画を作ったよ。左半分は画面のスクリーンキャプチャーで、右半分はおまいがその画面を見てる様子だよ
• このメールを知人に送られたくなければビットコイン500ドル分を送ってね（やりかたはググれ）
• 2日間猶予あげるよ
• もしこのメールを誰かに共有したら、すぐみんなに動画をばらまくよ

あっ…もうばらまかれてるね。

おまいの誤算を教えてやろう

それは、送った相手がITが苦手な日本人だったことだ。

英文メールなんか読まない。

ビットコインなんか知らない。

ビビらせる効果はあるかもしれないけど、それ以上何も期待できない。

もうひとつ付け加えると、おまいがメールを送った相手は女性だ。
